Important for the patient
The test can be done if a woman has regular periods and when her periods are irregular (e.g. once every two months).
In the case of regular periods, the test should be performed in the first week of the menstrual cycle and repeated a week later. If your periods are irregular, you can choose any day for the test and repeat the test after 7 days.
Morning urine should be used for the test. If it is not possible to perform the test immediately after collecting urine, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to two days.
